Along the road from Long Dien District to Ho Tram Beach, there are dozens of tourism projects either in operation or under construction, and the upgrade of the road is expected to help Ho Tram become a national tourist destination in future.
Work to widen the road has started near the intersection with National Highway 51. The project is set for completion in the third quarter of 2025.
A section of the coastal road through a hotel area in Xuyen Moc District has already been upgraded by the private investor who built the hotels.
Once widened, the road will be linked with the Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Port in Ba Ria – Vung Tau and Long Thanh International Airport, Vietnam’s biggest airport that is under construction in neighboring Dong Nai Province.
