The proposed Nguyen Khoai Street bridge and road, to run five kilometers through Districts 7, 4 and 1, will provide new connectivity between downtown and southern HCMC.

Vo Van Kiet Street will be widened on the Ben Nghe Canal side. Nguyen Khoai Street in District 4 will be upgraded.

Once the new project is completed, there will be new routes connecting the city's downtown and south, reducing the burdens on existing roads.
