Two weeks before the VnExpress Marathon Spakling Quy Nhon 2023, runner Tran Duyen, 21, a familiar face in the VnExpress Marathon system, tried on two versions of the race shirts, the singlet and the T-shirt. She also tried finisher pants, an item for 42 km runners who register in the early stages.
The shirt was made from microfiber. After thorough research and testing, the organizers chose this material as it is water-resistant, antibacterial, and suitable for outdoor activities.
The shirt is printed with a range of textures and patterns using thermal transfer printing technology. Thermal ink permeates each fabric, which helps achieve color consistency, high-resolution print without discoloring when washing, or distortion when stretching.
After 30 minutes of high-speed running in hot weather, Duyen said that the shirt had adequate ventilation and absorbency. The cut seams helped athletes move comfortably.
"The color makes me think of a coastal city, ideal for running in the summer," said Duyen.
Runners registering in the Super Early Bird phase will receive hats and pants. Pants are designed with pockets to keep water bootles, gel, phones...
Runners will receive a blue bucket hat after completing the 21 km distance.
VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon 2023 will take place on June 11. Runners will receive Bib and race kits on June 9.
