The owner, wanting her 43-square-meter home redesigned as a cozy and soothing space, decided to turn her ideas into reality by hiring an interior architecture firm.
A dominant pastel beige tone was applied throughout the apartment. The architect chose a soft, eye-pleasing palette, combining paint with moderate lighting to create a relaxing yet not monotonous feel.
The living room is designed with clear geometric forms. The wall behind the sofa is paneled with plaster, enhanced by decorative shelves.
The TV cabinet doubles as an altar for ancestor worship, designed with smooth curves that blend seamlessly with the wall system. Ceramic art pieces add visual interest to the space.
Furniture is arranged along one side, leaving a wide open area in the middle for easier shared activities and a more spacious impression despite the apartment’s limitation in size.
An extra area has been utilized as a multifunctional space for work, reading, and display. A desk combined with a smart shoe cabinet helps optimize the floor plan. This zone can also be converted into an extra bedroom if needed in the future.
The water purifier is placed on a plywood shelf with waterproof treatment, electrical wires are embedded into the wall for neatness, and the refrigerator niche is designed with a 10 cm gap for ventilation, ensuring stable operation.
The main bedroom is set back to one side, with the bed pushed against the wall to leave a walkway and allow natural light from the window.
The wardrobe features raised-panel doors in matching color, with recessed niches for built-in outlets beside the bed to power a lamp and charge phones.
