Five King Cobra aircraft, the most advanced fighter jets of Vietnam Air Force known officially as Su-30MK2, flew over Ba Dinh Square Sunday morning.
The group, shaped like an arrow, split into three directions, with the middle jet performing a vertical climb in the cheer of observers below.
Two jets flew over the National Assembly Building.
The jets are rehearsing for the parade on Vietnam’s 80th National Day on Sep. 2.

Each helicopter carries a 120-kilogram weight to help the flag stay flat.

On Sep. 2, Vietnam will hold a grand ceremony, military parade, and march to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi.
The parade will feature a comprehensive display of forces, including ground troops, mechanized units, air forces, and naval forces.
Nearly 16,000 participants will form 43 marching formations, 18 stationary units, and 14 military vehicle columns, alongside air and naval displays by the army and police.
