Since the arrival of several whales last year, Vung Boi Beach has emerged as a destination for nature enthusiasts and scuba divers.

Starting from De Gi Seaport in Cat Khanh Commune, Phu Cat District of Binh Dinh Province, the voyage begins approximately 50 kilometers north of Quy Nhon City.

Tourists board ships from De Gi Seaport, around 4 km away from Vung Boi Beach in Vinh Loi Village, My Thanh Commune, Phu My District.

Visitors can avail themselves of a package deal for three days and two nights, priced at approximately VND1,500,000 ($64).

This package includes meals, fishing, night squid fishing, boat rides, and homestay accommodation.

Aside from the pristine beaches of Vung Boi, travelers can also explore Hon Trau Island, a little-known island of untouched beauty.

Alternatively, they can explore Chanh Trach village, renowned for its winter melons, with each weighing 40 to 60 kg. For those with limited time, shorter tours are available at a reduced cost.

Once reaching Vung Boi Beach, visitors travel to the peninsula by canoe and then proceed to unload supplies such as gas, kitchen equipment, camping gear, and food ashore.

Crab catching serves as a memorable experience for families. Van Linh, a tourist from Quang Ngai Province, said that catching crabs is not easy, but the excitement it brings makes it worthwhile. Catching crabs can be challenging, even with coordinated efforts.

Thanks to the enthusiastic tourists exploring the area, Do Thanh Toan discovered a whale hunting site last year. It has generated significant media coverage and increased interest in the De Gi - Vung Boi tour.

"As we travel, we prioritize maintaining cleanliness in Vung Boi Beach, and visitors are also committed to keeping the area litter-free, preserving its everlasting beauty," said Do Cuong, one of the tour guides.
