Fifteen hotels received one Michelin Key, including eight first-time recipients: Jiva Hoa Lu Retreat - Ninh Binh, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort - Da Nang, Namia River Retreat - Wellness Inclusive Resort - Da Nang, Mai House Saigon Hotel - HCMC, Mia Saigon – Luxury Boutique Hotel - HCMC, Legacy Yen Tu Hotel Uong Bi - MGallery Collection - Quang Ninh, Garrya Mu Cang Chai - Lao Cai, Melia Vinpearl Quang Binh - Quang Tri.
Seven hotels retained their place from last year: Azerai Ke Ga Bay - Lam Dong, Legacy Mekong - Can Tho, Six Senses Con Dao - HCMC, Park Hyatt Saigon - HCMC, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay - Khanh Hoa, Regent Phu Quoc - An Giang, Hotel de la Coupole - MGallery - Lao Cai.
The Michelin Key, regarded as the "Michelin star for the hotel industry," evaluates more than 7,000 hotels in 125 countries.
The properties are assessed on five criteria: excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, personality and character, value for price, and contribution to the neighborhood or setting.
The criteria focus on the guest experience rather than amenities alone.
