On Saturday, the 46-year-old businessman posted a series of photos of his Instagram account, showing him on a motorbike trip to Mang Den, around 60 km from downtown Kon Tum.
At an altitude of 1,200 m, Mang Den is dubbed the ‘second Da Lat' for its year-round cool climate, vast valleys and pine forests.
He visits the Cathedral of Kon Tum, known as the Wooden Church, on Nguyen Hue Street in Kon Tum City.
The church was built by French pastors between 1913 and 1918.
Huy said his group had to struggle through a slippery and dangerous road section following heavy rain.
Between May and October is the rainy season in Mang Den, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 32 degree Celsius.

Huy graduated from Chapman University in the U.S. with a master's degree in business administration in 2002, at the age of 24.
He returned to Vietnam and applied for a job at ACB. He spent three years working at the bank before going back to the U.S. to pursue a doctorate degree in economics at the Golden Gate University.
He came back to Vietnam and was appointed deputy CEO of ACB. In 2012, he was promoted to chairman at the age of 34.
