The pair of dragons at the entrance gate to Nguyen Hue flower street takes shape on Jan. 31, after more than a week of construction.

Ai (L), a Japanese tourist, said she felt excited when looking at the dragon mascot statues.

She said she feel like the new year is coming back because Japan has only New Year's holiday and no traditional Tet like in Vietnam.

She hopes to see the complete version of the dragon pair soon.
