Located in Xuan Truong Commune, about 25 km southeast of Da Lat's city center, Cau Dat Tea Hills date back to 1927, when the French discovered the area and planted its first tea trees.
Today, the tea hills span over 230 hectares, making them one of the largest tea-growing regions in Vietnam.
This is the first wind power project in Lam Dong Province, with 15 large white wind turbines installed on tea hills, creating a unique landscape.
Tourists can visit the teal hills year-round, but the best time is during spring from January to March and autumn from September to November, when the weather is cool and flowers are in full bloom.
Cherry blossoms typically bloom from January to early March, though their timing varies each year based on weather conditions.
This year, the cherry blossoms at Cau Dat Tea Hills began blooming in late January, drawing tourists and photographers.
