Located in Pu Nhu Village in the northern mountainous district of Mu Cang Chai, famous for its terraced rice fields, Garrya Mu Cang Chai Resort will begin receiving guests Aug. 2.
The resort has 110 rooms, allowing guests to admire the beauty of the terraced rice fields. They change color depending on the time of the year, from green in late spring and summer to golden yellow in October during the harvest season.
Situated 1,000m above sea level, and part of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, Mu Cang Chai is home to several ethnic minority peoples. It is about a seven-hour drive northwest of Hanoi.

While staying at the resort, visitors can participate in activities such as yoga and meditation, as well as experience the culinary traditions of northern highland dishes at the getaway's restaurant.
Room rates start at VND3.9 million (US$153). Guests who book rooms before July 31 will receive a 30% discount.
