This year Rosewood Hong Kong surpassed Capella Bangkok to claim the top position in the World’s Best Hotel list decided by the World’s 50 Best Hotel Academy, which is made up of 800 hotel industry experts, including hoteliers and travel journalists.

The results were based on votes by industry experts and experienced travelers.

Rosewood Hong Kong opened in 2019 at Victoria Dockside in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, with 413 rooms.

Emma Sleight, Head of Content at The World's 50 Best Hotels, said the property earned the top spot thanks to its exceptional service and outstanding guest experiences in one of the world's most vibrant destinations.

The hotel, designed by Taiwanese architect Tony Chi, occupies a 65-storey tower.

Its standout feature is the view of Victoria Harbor through expansive glass windows, offering sights across Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

Room rates start from US$650 per night.

The interiors feature high-quality natural wood that blends traditional Asian motifs with contemporary design.

Many of the wooden pieces are handcrafted works of art. Each room's seating area is arranged in an open-plan layout with plush sofas and coffee tables, creating a comfortable spot to relax while enjoying the panoramic harbor views.

Selected room types feature marble bathrooms with double sinks, dual showers and infinity mirrors.
