Bui Bich Hien of Dong Nai said she and her family of five came to Vung Tau for the holiday, renting a triple room for VND2.5 million a day. She described the price as high but said they “had to accept it” because it was the peak holiday period.

She said she tried banh khot (miniature savory pancakes), took photos, and had coffee at a seaside cafe, and had enjoyed her visit.
