Dozens of tourist groups arrive in the ancient town on Monday afternoon.
On Ly Thuong Kiet Street, around 1 km from the center of the old town, 45-seat buses drop guests off. Then their tour guide comes to booths to buy entry tickets for them.

Ticket prices will be VND120,000 ($5.10) for international visitors and VND80,000 for Vietnamese.
Visitors then board an electric bus to move to Song Hoai Square, paying VND10,000 per person. Each bus carries at least five people.

Domestic tourists with a VND80,000 ticket can choose to visit four destinations while foreign tourists with a VND120,000 ticket can explore six places among the Pagoda Bridge, Cam Pho communal house, Quan Cong (Guan Yu) temple, Hoi An museum, Phuc Kien, Quang Dong and Trieu Chau Assembly Halls, and several other ancient houses.
A representative of the Center for Culture, Sports and Television of Hoi An said that during the first day of carrying out the fee collection, Hoi An sold 4,500 tickets.
