Cherry trees adorn the gardens of Da Sar Commune, Lac Duong District on Lang Biang Plateau, about 12 kilometers from central Da Lat in the Central Highlands.
"Da Lat dyed pink with cherry blossoms" was shot by domestic award-winning photographer Ngoc Anh (also known as Py Tran).
Traveling down small roads in Da Sar Commune, visitors can experience the refreshing atmosphere of early spring among local coffee gardens and tea hills.

Ngoc Anh said although access to the commune is a bit tricky, the poetic experience is well worth it.
Cherry blossom season depends on weather and soil. In 2017, local cherry trees bloomed from early March, from mid-January in 2018, and from December in 2019 and 2020.
Cherry trees thrive in a temperate climate. In early winter, the trees typically shed all their leaves, then hibernate about two weeks before blooming for around one to two months.
Cherry blossoms usually appear along the 500-meter-long Tran Hung Dao Street, as well as Hung Vuong, Dong Da, Ho Tung Mau, Tran Quang Dieu, Tran Quy Cap, Le Dai Hanh and Dinh Tien Hoang.
Cherry trees are also planted along the banks of Xuan Huong Lake, on the campus of Da Lat University in Ward 8, and the Clay Tunnel area in Ward 4.
