Xofa Café & Bistro in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter is a classic café where the decor evokes a nostalgic ambience, making it an ideal address to escape the Tet party spree.

The café has two floors, each with sofas and pillows. The café's small garden is surrounded by green trees.

In addition to serving drinks like Vietnamese coffee, tea, matcha latte and coffee with coconut milk, it also treats diners with Western-style dishes such as spinach eggs benedict, squid corn curry soup, creamy pumpkin soup and French fries.

The café is at 14 Tong Duy Tan Street, Hang Bong Ward, Hoan Kiem District.

All Day Coffee in Hanoi will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. through the Tet holiday, which begins on Sunday.

The café is large, nearly 400 square meters, and can accommodate over 100 guests at a time.

Design highlights here include European style arched doorways, wooden interiors and chandeliers.

It is located at 55 Hang Bun Street in Ba Dinh District.

Also in Hanoi, The Nammin House will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the Tet holiday.

Opened in 2020, the café attracts young Hanoians with its European-influenced designs and views of Dac Di Lake.

The café is a harmonious combination of Asian-European fusions. This cobalt-blue café features arched doorways and uses wooden tables, chairs and rattans.

These days, the café bustles with the festive ambience with red lanterns, pots of fresh flowers and other decorative Tet items.

It is located at 200 Ngo Xa Dan 2 Street in Dong Da District.

Manoir Café in downtown Hanoi is also decorated with red paper fans, lanterns and branches of peace blossoms for Tet.

The café will open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Lunar New Year's Eve and from noon to 6 p.m. on the first day of the Year of Cat.

From the second day onwards, the shop will open from 9 a.m. until midnight.

Nestled on a quiet street, the café has two floors with its décor following European style with arched designs, chandeliers and sofas.

The café is located at 1 Nguyen Gia Thieu Street, Hoan Kiem District.

The mint green and white La Mensa café in Hanoi boasts arched doorways and large glass windows to peer in and out of its large space, which can accommodate over 140 guests at a time.

This coffee chain has currently five stores in Hanoi that have all been vividly decorated for Tet.

The café serves guests milk tea, mixed fruit yogurt, juices and coffee as well as sweet cakes such as matcha tiramisu, cheesecake and sponge cake with salted eggs.

Guests can drop by the café at several locations: No.8 of Alley 165 Thai Ha Street, 2 Hang Dieu Street, 2 Tong Dan Street or 54i Vu Trong Phung Street.

In Ho Chi Minh City, The Vintage Emporium Thao Dien in the Thao Dien new urban area, home to one of the city's larger expat communities, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Lunar New Year's Eve through the fourth day of the first lunar month.

This European-style café has arched doorways, luxury interiors and a black-and-white color theme.

In addition to mixed juices and coffee, the café also serves Western-style dishes such as grilled lamb meatballs, toasted sandwiches, red quinoa salad or traditional Vietnamese dishes like pho bo (beef noodle soup).

The Vintage Emporium Thao Dien is at No.1 Street 39 Thao Dien.

Oromia Coffee & Lounge in downtown HCMC is another great European-style café.

It's currently bristling with the Tet spirit thanks to its pots of yellow chrysanthemum.

The café uses wooden tables and chairs.

Nestled on a quiet street in HCMC, Ochata Coffee provides a green space for guests who want to indulge themselves with nature.

Located on the ninth floor of an old apartment building on pedestrian-only Nguyen Hue street in downtown HCMC, Boo Coffee offers a panoramic view of the city's busiest boulevard.

During Tet, the café offers royal costume rentals for guests who want to take photos with a backdrop of red lanterns, pots of flowers and red firecrackers.
