Pham Huy Trung's shot capturing a woman harvesting water chestnuts in a field of Thang Binh District in central Quang Nam Province won the first prize in the drone photography category of the annual 35AWARDS 2020, an international event created in 2015 by the professional photo community 35photo.pro.
His shot was also named overall winner of the sixth edition of the contest.
The contest attracted 440,000 entries from 173 countries and territories to compete in 27 categories, including drone, wildlife, black and white, and children.
The best 100 photos in the aerial photography category boasts 14 representatives from Vietnam.

Water lilies are used for decoration and making tea in east and southeast Asia. Their stalks are edible and can be eaten raw with fermented paste or braised sauce as dips, or cooked in sour soup or hotpot.
Water lily season in the Mekong Delta lasts from early September to mid-November.

Phan Thanh Cuong from Bac Lieu Province captured a man raking salt at dawn on a field in the province's Hoa Binh District. Cuong said it was still dark, so salt farmers had to wear specialized lights on their heads to work. Later, they piled the salt up and used a tear rod to transport it to a point of colletion.
Bac Lieu is home to hundreds of families whose entire lives are spent harvesting salt.
