Located at No. 19, Alley 10, Lang Ha Street, Thanh Cong Ward, Ba Dinh District, 30 Days Coffee has been open for nearly a month. It features a blend of vintage and modern design elements, set within a 40-year-old villa.
The café consists of an outdoor courtyard and three floors. According to the owner, he and his friends spent two months transforming the villa into a café with numerous photo-worthy corners. The roof tiles used in the renovation were sourced from demolished houses.
The villa's original fence was removed to create a parking area for guests.
A small fountain sits in the middle of the 100-square-meter courtyard, surrounded by tables. The café is busiest during lunch breaks and in the evening when nearby office workers visit.
The highlight of the café's interior is a dinosaur skeleton model, approximately 3 meters long and nearly 2 meters tall, placed on the first floor. It is cordoned off to prevent direct contact with customers.
Owner Hoang Son shared that he was inspired to incorporate the dinosaur skeleton into the café's décor after being impressed by a similar model during a museum visit with friends.
"I didn't expect it to attract so many customers," he said.
On weekends, the café welcomes around 1,000 visitors per day.
The foam dinosaur skeleton, which cost over VND20 million ($790), was custom-made at a workshop on the outskirts of Hanoi and took nearly a month to complete.
Many young customers visit the café out of curiosity about the dinosaur model and the design of each space.
"The café is perfect for photography enthusiasts," said Bao Anh, a 25-year-old from Hanoi's Tay Ho District.
One of the main interior walls has been partially demolished, offering a peek into the seating areas inside.
Each area is thoughtfully designed, with sofa corners for relaxation, and tables for those looking to work or study.
According to Son, every design element in the café was planned by him and his team. The café's gray color palette was inspired by the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh in Vietnam's former Imperial City in Hue.
Beverages are priced from VND40,000 to VND60,000 ($1.60 to $2.40). Popular menu items include oat milk matcha and passion fruit cake.
