After four years of construction, a 325-meter-long glass bridge connecting the Valley of Love tourist area and Thong Nhat Hill in the Central Highlands city of Da Lat opened to tourists last month.
The bridge is suspended 100 meters above green pine forests, a symbol of Da Lat City known for its year-round cool climate and French colonial mansions.
The bridge deck is made of five-layer tempered glass, applying 7D technology with special visual and sound effects to enhance experience for visitors but still ensure design standards, load safety and aesthetic factors.
It is the only glass bridge in the south and central region and only 200 visitors are allowed to visit the bridge at a time.

Entry fees cost VND400,000 (US$17) per person or visitors can buy a combo package for VND600,000 to visit the entire Valley of Love tourist area and glass bridge.
Standing from the bridge, visitors can take a panoramic view of Langbiang Mountain at a height of 2,167 meters above sea level and Tuyen Lam Lake area dotted by green pine forests.
Once a summer hideout for the French colonialists, Da Lat has now become a top tourist attraction in Vietnam.

Located in Moc Chau highlands town, the country’s largest tea growing area in Son La Province, a 632-meter-long glass bridge named Bach Long (White Dragon) opened to tourists in April 2022.
A month later, it was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's longest.
The bridge, a five-hour drive from Hanoi, is suspended some 150 meters above a lush green jungle valley.
The bridge deck is 2.4 meters wide.
The floor of the bridge, which allows a maximum of 450 people at a time, is made with French-produced tempered glass.

One of the highlights of the bridge is a 327-meter-long cliff path with a panoramic view of the tourist area.
At the foot of the bridge is Muong Mooc Cave, also known as Chim Than Cave, home to natural stalactites and stone sculptures that reflect the daily lives of the ancient Thai ethnic minority group.
Entry costs VND550,000 for adults and VND350,000 for children.

Located inside Dai Yem Waterfall tourist area, also in Son La, Tinh Yeu (Love) glass bridge opened to tourists in 2019 and became the first of its kind in Vietnam.
The 22-meter-high bridge uses state-of-the-art 5D technology with more than 50 effects, giving visitors the feeling of walking above flowers, heart shapes and swimming fish, with the sound of glass shattering.
Admission fees to the tourist area costs VND50,000 per person while visitors who want to visit the glass bridge have to buy separate tickets for VND100,000 per adult and VND50,000 per child.

From the glass bridge, visitors can easily explore daily lives of tea farmers in Moc Chau.
At an altitude of 1,054 meters above sea level, Moc Chau boasts a temperate climate with average temperatures ranging from 15 to 26 degrees Celsius. It's home to about 3,000 hectares of tea estates.
The tea harvest season is from April to December.

Located at 2,200 meters above sea level, Rong May glass bridge in the northern highlands province of Lai Chau, around 400 kilometers from Hanoi, opened to the public in 2019.
The suspension bridge is over 500 meters long with a 60-meter section extruding over a cliff. It also includes a glass elevator that goes up 300 meters.
The bridge is the highest such glass structure in Vietnam.
To get to the glass bridge, visitors take the 300-meter-high elevator, of which 80m is located inside the mountain.
Entry costs VND400,000 for adults and VND200,000 for children.

Standing from the bridge, visitors can admire the entire view of the 50-km-long O Quy Ho mountain pass, lying 2,000 meters above sea level and linking Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces in the northern highlands.
The pass, 300 km from Hanoi, is dangerous due to steep gorges that lie along it.
