Eight resorts in Da Nang, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Sa Pa, and Vung Tau were named global winners at this year's World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Amiana Resort Nha Trang in the central beach town Nha Trang was named winner of the "Luxury coastal resort" category.

Overlooking Nha Trang Bay, the resort features 153 spacious rooms and villas, each with garden or ocean views and a private balcony.

At the heart of the resort is a 2,500-square-meter natural seawater pool and a 700-square-meter freshwater infinity pool.

Hôtel De La Coupole – Mgallery in northern highlands town Sa Pa was named winner of the "Luxury banquet/event hotel" category.

Inspired by the 1920-1930 period in France, the hotel boasts 249 rooms and suites that incorporate the beauty of traditional Vietnamese features and French aesthetics.

The rooms here offer views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and rice terraces.

Ville De Mont Mountain Resort in Sa Pa was named winner of the "Luxury cultural resort" category.

Standing 1,500 meters above sea level with a year-round cool climate, the resort is home to 39 villas overlooking Muong Hoa Valley and Ham Rong Mountain.

All villas here are built from stone, indigenous wood in combination with handmade ethnic brocade.

InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, the tallest luxury 5-star hotel in Hanoi, was voted winner of the "Luxury business hotel" category.

The hotel opened in 2017 in Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower in Cau Giay District with 359 luxury rooms and 34 suites.

New World Phu Quoc Resort in An Thoi Ward on the southern island Phu Quoc was named global winner of the "Luxury family beach resort" category.

It features 375 villas surrounded by coconut trees.

The resort's design takes inspiration from fishing villages, and villas here are made of eco-friendly materials like wood and bamboo.

The resort also has a fitness center and studio, a 16-treatment-room spa and kids' club.

Premier Village Danang Resort was voted winner of the "Luxury eco resort" category.

Located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, the most beautiful road in Da Nang, the resort covers 15 hectares and has 111 sea and garden villas that overlook My Khe Beach.

Sheraton Grand Danang Resort was the second representative in Da Nang to be named a global winner.

The resort was honored among the best "Luxury beach resorts."

Located along Non Nuoc Beach, with 270 air-conditioned rooms, it came in sixth.

There's a buffet restaurant, a tea lounge and whiskey bar, plus beach and pool bars. Other amenities consist of a gym, three outdoor pools and a posh spa, plus a private beach and kids' club.

Located along Thuy Van Beach in southern beach town Vung Tau, two hours from HCMC, Vias Hotel Vung Tau was voted a "Luxury rooftop view hotel."

It has 152 rooms overlooking long, sandy beaches.

World Luxury Hotel Awards was first launched in 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the luxury hotel industry as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike. Over 300,000 international travelers vote each year, during a four-week period to select the winners.
