All stores of Highlands coffee chain are almost open through the one-week Tet holiday that began on Thursday.

Highlands Coffee shops on Dinh Tien Hoang Street at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and at 44 Trang Tien in Hoan Kiem District remain open on Friday, Lunar New Year’s Eve, until 1 a.m. on the first day of Tet.

Other shops in Dien Bien Phu Street Flagpole area, Times City urban area, Truc Bach Lake Cruise, Chelsea Park apartment building and CT3 Linh Dam apartment building are only open until 11 p.m. on Lunar New Year’s Eve.

Some other shops open until 10 p.m.

On the first day of Tet, all these shops are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Xofa Cafe & Bistro at 14 Tong Duy Tan Street, Hoan Kiem District, is one of a few that opens 24 hours a day in Hanoi, and it has kept the doors wide open during the country’s biggest holiday.

Drinks cost between VND30,000-50,000 a person, and there’re also fast-food options. The place is loved for its canopy.

Guests can order coffee, teas, and nut milk. Its food menu includes cakes, sandwiches, and spaghetti.

Ca Bop shop at 23 Hang Vai Street in Hoan Kiem District is rated five stars on travel review website Tripadvisor and is open from 6 a.m. on the first day of Tet.

On Lunar New Year’s Eve, the shop opens until 6 p.m.

This is a popular address for foreign tourists and is a meeting place for many photographers and young people.

The shop has four floors with panoramic views overlooking the old town center.

The shop's signature drinks are sugarcane coffee and egg coffee.

In addition, the shop also has traditional machine-brewed coffee, cold brew, chrysanthemum tea, and peach lemongrass tea.

Montauk by LP Club at 174 Kim Ma Street in Ba Dinh District is a frequent destination for art lovers.

While sitting at the café, visitors can meet many famous people and participate in events related to music and movies.

The shop is open from 7:30 a.m. on the first day of Tet. On the evening of Lunar New Year’s Eve, it only serves guests until 8:30 p.m.

The shop’s space recreates Hanoi's Tet atmosphere in the 1990s.

This year’s highlight menu is dragon fruit, so the special Tet drinks focus on red dragon fruit, with the hope of bringing a lucky new year.

All Day Coffee has two locations: 37 Quang Trung Street in Hoan Kiem District and 55 Hang Bun Street Ba Dinh District.

The café on Hang Bun Street welcomed U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and his delegation on President Joe Biden's visit to Vietnam in September 2023.

During the holiday, the shop is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.

The restaurant's menu includes more than 30 types of drinks such as coffee, tea, smoothies and juices.

In particular, coffee is the main dish with basic dishes such as egg coffee and machine-brewed types. In addition, the restaurant also serves food, with prices ranging from VND50,000 to VND200,000 per portion.

The three-storey Nammin House at 200 Alley Xa Dan 2 in Dong Da District is designed with orange and blue theme colors.

The two frontages are wide and offer views of Nam Dong Lake. Drinks cost from VND29,000 to 50,000.

The shop is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day during Tet, with many corners decorated in traditional Tet style for customers to take photos.

Located near the fireworks display area at Sword Lake, Phe La milk tea and coffee shop at 38 Le Thai To Street in Hoan Kiem District is an ideal spot to ring in the Year of Dragon.

The shop is open until 1 a.m. on the first day of the lunar new year. The shop only closes on the morning of the first day and reopens from noon to 11 p.m. the same day.

Other Phe La stores in Hanoi such as Hang Cot, Ly Thuong Kiet, Nui Truc, Thanh Thai, Pham Ngoc Thach, Nguyen Van Cu will be closed at 5 p.m. on Lunar New Year’s Eve and open from noon of the next day.

For the remaining days of Tet, the coffee shops remain open normally.

As one of the beverage chains that has attracted young people in recent years, Phe La stands out with its milk tea and coffee, with prices ranging from VND55,000 -65,000.

Tach Spaces at 20 Hai Ba Trung Street in Hoan Kiem District is a complex of interconnected spaces including cafes, bars and art galleries.

The restaurant's architecture combines traditional and modern features.

It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Lunar New Year’s Eve and from noon to 11 p.m. on the first day of the new year.

On other days, the shop applies the same schedule as usual from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

From Lunar New Year’s Eve to the 4th day of Tet, which is Feb. 9-13, the shop will apply 20% charge for service fee.
