Ten hotels and resorts in Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Hoi An, Vung Tau and Cam Ranh have been honored among Asia’s most luxurious at this year’s World Luxury Hotel Awards.

Caravelle Saigon was voted the "Luxury city hotel in Asia."

Since opening its doors on Christmas Eve in 1959, the hotel has become a tourist icon of Ho Chi Minh City.

It’s not too far from popular tourist attractions like the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and Ben Thanh Market.

Room rates cost from VND5.3 million ($213.43) a night.

Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay was named the "Luxury resort in Asia."

Located on Long Beach on the southern island Phu Quoc, the hotel is around 28 kilometers from Phu Quoc International Airport.

One of the hotel’s highlights is a traditional breakfast in British style.

Room rates cost from VND2.9 million a night.

Furama Resort Da Nang was named winner of the "Luxury beachfront resort in Asia" category.

It has 196 rooms with its designs combing traditional Vietnamese architecture and French style.

Surrounded by green trees, the resort has outdoor swimming pools, restaurants and bars.

Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills was named "Luxury mountain hotel in Asia."

Located at the height of 1,487 meters above sea level, the resort offers an overview of Da Nang and its design is inspired by Gothic architecture from the 19th century.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort was named the "Luxury Ocean View Resort in Asia."

Built on the hills of Son Tra Peninsula in the central coastal city of Da Nang, the resort has 201 luxurious rooms, suites, penthouses, and villas that offer views of sandy beaches and tropical forests.

Novotel Danang Premier Han River was named winner of the "Luxury family all-inclusive hotel" category.

It has 323 rooms and a bar on its rooftop that offers a view of the entire city.

Mercure Vung Tau was crowned the "Luxury beach hotel in Asia."

Located in the southern beach town Vung Tau, around 600 meters from Thuy Van Beach, the resort has 50 beach-view rooms.

Located on Long Beach in Cam Ranh Peninsula, Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh was crowned the "Luxury honeymoon resort in Asia."

It boasts 256 hotel rooms and 36 villas surrounded by white, long sandy beaches.

Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort was the winner of the "Luxury wellness resort in Asia" category.

Located on Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Hoi An ancient town, the resort has 138 rooms surrounded by green trees and flower gardens.

It has an outdoor swimming pool, spa treatment facilities and wellness services.

Room rates range from VND1.9 million ($76.49) per night.

Shilla Monogram Quangnam Danang was voted the "Luxury coastal resort in Asia."

Located in Dien Ban District in Quang Nam Province, which neighbors Da Nang, the hotel has 309 rooms with views of Son Tra Peninsula.

World Luxury Hotel Awards was launched in 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the luxury hotel industry as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike. Over 300,000 international travelers vote each year, during a four-week period to select the winners.
