Southeast Asia stood out in Fodor's Travel ranking of the 22 best hotels in Asia, with 10 representatives primarily from Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Located about 25 kilometers from Phuket International Airport, Amanpuri Hotel features 84 pavilions and villas surrounded by tropical gardens.

All villas offer oversized bathrooms, while the pavilions include private walled gardens, sunken baths, and outdoor showers.

Guests have access to the resort's extensive amenities, including a 27-meter pool, premium watersports equipment, a diving school, a fleet of charter boats, and a wellness center featuring Thai-inspired treatment pavilions, steam rooms, saunas, hot and cold plunge pools, and an open-air sala for meditation.

Room rates cost from 48,000 baht (US$1,419).

Fodor's Travel, a New York-based travel guide company, compiled the list by collaborating with over 750 experts, including seasoned travel writers and hotel professionals. They narrowed down a pool of 700,000 hotels to just 100, representing the top 0.014% worldwide.

Hotels were selected based on criteria such as sustainable tourism practices, stunning architecture and landscapes, and service quality.

The Anam Cam Ranh in the central province of Khanh Hoa blends classical French architecture with traditional Vietnamese design.

It features 77 villas and 136 rooms, each offering spacious outdoor balconies or terraces with views of sandy beaches or bougainvillea-filled gardens.

Guests can enjoy a range of dining options, with restaurants serving both Vietnamese and international cuisine. The resort caters to all ages and offers various luxury amenities, including a spa, swimming pool, and high-end services.
