Online travel platform Traveloka has revealed a list of resorts with the highest number of bookings during the four-day National Day holiday break, with most located in beach tourist hubs such as Binh Thuan and Khanh Hoa.

Located in the south-central province of Binh Thuan, Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne topped the list.

The resort has 984 rooms and villas decorated with pink bougainvillea flowers overlooking Hon Rom Bay.

It features a lazy river, a splash pad for kids, a water play area with slides, a swimming pool, and rocks for cliff jumping.

Room rates cost from VND4 million (US$160) a night.

Vietnam's National Day holiday this year will take place from Aug. 31 to Sept. 3. Civil servants are entitled to four consecutive days off.

Located in Nha Trang City, Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang is the second most booked resort during the holiday.

The resort is characterized with its Indochina-style architecture featuring red tiled roofs.

Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa Hue, the first resort in Vietnam built on water, came third.
