The Best 5-Star Hotel Award was presented by Vietnam National Tourism Administration at the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 program held on Sept. 27.
The selection results were conducted publicly, with the participation of a council of 11 members representing management agencies, professional associations and experts in the tourism field.
The criteria include service quality, product diversity, environmental friendliness, helping to promote the image of Vietnam.
Topping the list is Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi on Ngo Quyen Street in Hanoi, which was built in 1901 and is the oldest hotel in the capital.
The hotel has two buildings with a total of 364 rooms. It used to host many world celebrities, including heads of state, royal family members, actors, writers, musicians, and businessmen.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort sits on the Son Tra Peninsula and was designed by world-renowned architect Bill Bensley.
