U.S. snipers and special forces were spotted protecting Obama on Monday evening while he was out for dinner on Le Van Huu Street. These forces, who are separate from the special agents who closely accompany Obama, kept watch on high buildings and the surrounding area.
U.S. President Barack Obama having dinner was seen going to have dinner in a ‘bun cha’ place in Le Van Huu at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. He was accompanied by several cars.
At least four agents surrounded the president when he stepped out of the car. About 2 meters far from him, 10 others kept watching every move around to ensure safety and security.
About six agents surrounding Obama always got ready to respond to any potential threat.
Two snipers with guns were seen in a Vietnamese car in an outside security layer.
The two snipers in bulletproof vests also carried Glock pistols.
They used binoculars constantly to observe high buildings nearby.
At least two special forces officers in bulletproof vests were seen standing about five meters from the ‘bun cha’ place.
At least four agents with short guns spotted standing around Obama’s car while he was having dinner.
An agent reminded people not to come too close to the president.
Security forces had an easy evening as they did not have to respond to any threat from locals.
