Techconnect & Innovation Vietnam 2023 is taking place over two days, September 29-30, at the Palace of Planning, Ha Long Fair and Exhibition, Quang Ninh Province, with the theme "Innovation: Sustainable Development."

Besides forums, conferences, and consulting activities, one of the areas that attracts great attention is the exhibition area, with nearly 200 booths displaying technical equipment and solutions in different fields.

Hanet, which provides a variety of solutions for street security control centers, agencies, and companies, has a prominent booth at the event. The Vietnamese company specializing in image identification and processing solutions produces items such as document scanning devices and facial recognition systems that can be put indoors and outdoors.

According to a company representative, the devices may access the system using previously acquired data. Even if the person wears a mask, the device can still recognize them.

The Vietnam-Korea Institute of Science and Technology (VKIST) has brought to the event a variety of solutions, including self-propelled robots and 3D data generation. VKIST's self-sufficient obstacle avoidance robot can be used for cargo transport. The use of three wheels, according to the developer, allows the robot to move in all directions without having to rotate like other robots, which helps improve stability when transporting.

Homegy's smart home solution also attracted attention at the exhibition. The company specializes in providing smart home ecosystems, from indoor to outdoor devices, and solar energy. The unique point of this solution is that it visually simulates the user's home. Instead of controlling the device list, users can touch the device itself on the image to turn it on and off and adjust it.
