All seven cars are of Russia’s brand Aurus, which was established in 2018 to make cars for Russian officials. In 2021 the company launched its first commercial vehicle and last year sold 115 units.
Two of the seven vehicles are armored limousines to carry Putin. The remainder of the convoy are two sedans and three MPVs.
