Contractors are accelerating construction on major facilities for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in 2027 on Phu Quoc Island, with the conference center, multi-purpose theater, and airport terminals now taking shape.

Positioned between the conference center and the theater, APEC Park serves as a vital connecting green space. Its design draws inspiration from the curved roof of a coastal village communal house, a classic symbol of Vietnamese community and heritage.

A central "symbolic garden" will run along the park's main axis, with specific sections representing each of the participating APEC economies. At present, the park has completed the site leveling phase, with the developer, Sun Group, scheduling full implementation to coincide with the second phase of the neighboring conference and theater projects.

To meet its ambitious deadlines, the project has mobilized an immense workforce of nearly 10,000 engineers, specialists, and laborers. Supported by thousands of machines operating around the clock, the site is a hive of constant activity.

In the fading light of a late December afternoon, the Phu Quoc construction hub remains bustling as a steady stream of barges docks to deliver essential materials, ensuring the project maintains its pace.
