Bettel and Chinh visited the Temple of Literature in Hanoi as part of Bettel's official three-day visit to Vietnam.

Chinh and Bettel beat a drum together at the temple. They listened to descriptions of locations and artifacts at the site, such as the Constellation of Literature Pavilion.

During the visit, Bettel expressed admiration for Vietnam's tradition of education.

The two PM purchased paper fans at a gift shop inside the temple. Temperatures in Hanoi were around 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday afternoon.

Chinh and Bettel also walked together to the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, where around 20,000 artworks and artifacts are stored and exhibited.

The two Prime Ministers view a painting called "Em Thuy" (Thuy) by artist Tran Van Can. The painting depicts Can's 8-year-old niece, and is an exemplary work of 20th century Vietnamese art.

During a dialogue with Bettel, Chinh praised recent positive economic and trade developments between Vietnam and Luxembourg.

He noted that investment was going particularly well between the two nations, considering that Luxembourg is now Europe's third largest investor in Vietnam, accounting for a total capital of $2.6 billion.

Both leaders agreed to continue the construction of logistics centers and establish systems of bonded warehouses in both countries. They commended the fact that the two countries' finance ministries have established a strategic partnership regarding green finance.

Chinh and Bettel also witnessed the signing of several financial cooperation agreements.

Chinh said the dialogue was a successful one, and he praised Bettel's sincerity and love for Vietnam.

Bettel meets with National Assembly chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Thursday.

Bettel is the first Luxembourg prime minister to visit Vietnam in over 20 years.

The visit also marks the first high-level external relations activity to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Luxembourg.
