The 220-meter-long and 2-meter-wide bridge between the Valley of Love and Mong Mo (dreamy) Hill, hangs 28 meters above the ground and was almost completed in 2020 when Da Lat authorities found the project had no license.

The investor, Thanh Thanh Cong Lam Dong Tourism JSC, was fined VND40 million (US$1,700) and the project was put on hold.

After the project was suspended, the investors set up barriers using iron sheets to shield it from locals and tourists.

After the three-year delay, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and authorities of Lam Dong Province, home to Da Lat Town, agreed to let the investor finish the project.

It is the first glass bridge in Vietnam’s central and southern regions.

Da Lat is situated at an altitude of 1,500 meters and has a cool climate all year round. Featuring beautiful scenery including pine forests and waterfalls, the city is adored by both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

The city received more than 7 million visitors last year.
