On November 6, the National Military Training Center 4 in My Duc District hosted the AARM-30 opening ceremony.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, presided over the ceremony.
AARM-30 is the first competition and exchange activity between Southeast Asia’s armies after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Since the beginning of this year the Vietnamese army has consulted with its counterparts in other countries to prepare for the event, he said.

AARM-30 has brought together shooters from 10 ASEAN member countries. The event provides an opportunity for delegations to exchange, learn from one another and practice various skills.
