Vietnamese players get familiar with the stadium, which will mark a milestone in Vietnamese football history when the country play the first World Cup game ever.
They will encounter four-time winners and defending champions, the U.S., on Saturday.
The players pose for photos in the stadium.
Coach Mai Duc Chung said at a press conference earlier that "We don't think we will beat the U.S. tomorrow, but we promise to play with the biggest efforts."
The debuting Vietnam are in a tough group that also includes 2019 runners-up Netherlands, who they will play on August 1, after the July 27 match against Portugal.
According to Google predictions, Vietnam have 0.6% chance of beating the U.S. and 1.1% of drawing.
Vietnam have been in New Zealand for nearly two weeks to get familiar with the weather and playing grounds.
The grass in the stadium is smoothened for the game.
The Vietnam vs U.S. match will be the second hosted at Eden Park this tournament, after the opener on July 20 when hosts New Zealand beat Norway 1-0.
Coach Chung (2nd, R) talks with his players during training.
He sees the U.S. game as a dream coming true for Vietnam, giving them a great chance to test their playing style and spirit.
Chung focused on strengthening the players' defense, saying their biggest target is limit the number of goals conceded.
