In the summer of 2023, Rashford signed a new five-year contract with Man Utd. With the 26-year-old scoring 30 goals in the previous season, fans and media considered his salary of $390,000 per week to be reasonable. However, in the following season, Rashford has been a disappointment, scoring only eight goals. If Rashford doesn't improve his performance, Man United may sell him to reduce financial burden.
9. Bernardo Silva (Manchester City, $390,000 a week)
Silva is a silent hero and is always appreciated by coach Pep Guardiola and Man City. The Portuguese midfielder receives the third-highest salary at the club and has three years left on his contract. At the age of 30, it's hard for Silva to find a club that pays him better in Europe.
8. Jack Grealish (Manchester City, $390,000 a week)
In 2021, Grealish set a record for the most expensive transfer in the Premier League when he moved from Aston Villa to Man City for $130 million, breaking the previous record of $118 million of Paul Pogba. After that, the English star became a mainstay on the left wing. Off the pitch, Grealish also helped the club increase its commercial value.
However, since last season, due to injuries and the appearance of Jeremy Doku, the 28-year-old winger has struggled to keep a place in the starting lineup.

Fernandes is the captain of Man Utd. He has three years left on his contract and receives the second-highest salary at Old Trafford.
Receptions for the Portuguese attacking midfielder have been mixed. One side believes that he has not tried hard enough and would be the first player to give up when the team face difficulties. But the other side still sees Fernandes as Man Utd's most important player and one of the most creative players in the Premier League.

Sterling has three years left on his contract with Chelsea and is the highest paid player at Stamford Bridge. The 29-year-old winger was a star at Liverpool, Man City and England national team. However, on Aug. 18, Sterling was left out of Chelsea's starting lineup for the Premier League clash against Man City, leaving his future uncertain.
5. Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea, $422,000 a week)
Lukaku has two years left on his contract and is the highest paid player at Stamford Bridge like Sterling. After being signed in 2021, Lukaku played only one season and scored 15 goals for Chelsea. He then moved to Inter and Roma for two seasons on loan. Recently, Napoli has reached an agreement to sign Lukaku from Chelsea.
4. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, $455,000 a week)
Salah has one year left on his contract and is the highest paid player at Liverpool. This salary is reasonable as Salah has scored 212 goals in 350 matches. Next year, the Egyptian star's contract will expire and he will turn 33. He can move to Saudi Arabia to get a higher payment, or accept a pay cut to stay at Liverpool.

Casemiro has two years left on his contract and is the highest-paid player at Old Trafford. Last season, the 32-year-old midfielder performed poorly, after a successful first season. However, with good performances in the first two matches of this season, he is likely to stay at the club.
2. Erling Haaland (Man City, $487,000 a week)
Haaland has three years left on his contract and is the second highest paid player in the Premier League. After signing the Norwegian star striker in 2022, Man City have proven that money can buy goals.
To date, Haaland has scored 91 goals in 100 games for Man City. In addition to his personal records, the 24-year-old striker also won a Champions League, two Premier Leagues, an FA Cup, an English Community Shield, a European Super Cup and a treble.

De Bruyne (R) has one year left on his contract and is the highest-paid player in the Premier League. The Belgian midfielder plays a prime role in making assists and scoring important goals. Next year, the 33-year-old could move to Saudi Arabia for a higher salary.
