Tim Cook arrived in Hanoi Monday morning for a two-day business trip to meet notable content creators and app developers on the App Store.
He met pop diva My Linh (R) and her daughter, singer My Anh at the restaurant.
"Xin chào (Hello), Vietnam! Thank you to the very talented musicians My Linh and My Anh for such a warm welcome," Cook penned in his first tweet since arriving in Hanoi. "And I loved the egg coffee!" Tim Cook wrote on his X account, formerly known as Twitter.
The trio ordered egg coffee and a serving of sunflower seeds.

Located in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter near the iconic Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake, the restaurant was designed by François Lagisquet, the chief architect of the renowned Hanoi Opera House.
A century later, the villa still retains its original ancient features with a touch of French architecture such as yellow walls, wooden furniture and red lanterns and that's why many international tourists choose Madame Hien Hanoi to explore and enjoy the atmosphere of ancient Vietnam.
Located in a century-old high-ceilinged building with a quiet courtyard, the restaurant has wooden tables for both indoor and outdoor space.
Last year, Hong Kong news site South China Morning Post recommended the restaurant at 48 Hang Be Street an ideal place to visit during a tour in Hanoi.
Like many ancient French villas, it has large windows, bringing light and wind into the interior space.
In addition to egg coffee - Hanoi's signature drink, Madame Hien Hanoi serves home-cooked meals rich in Vietnamese flavors.
The menu includes mango prawn fresh summer rolls (pictured), seasonal pomelo salad, pho (beef noodle soup) and papaya salad with dried beef.
The restaurant also serves a traditional meal trat with rice, vegetables and braised dishes.
A lunch menu including three courses (appetizer, main dish and dessert) costs VND180,000 (US$7.12).
