The foundation of Tran Phu Bridge, situated along Nha Trang’s coastal road, has been severely eroded by the relentless pounding of waves and floodwater. A section more than 10 m long and over 5 m wide saw concrete blocks break and fall into the sea, exposing the critical bridge footing.
In response, authorities have immediately blocked off the damaged part of the bridge for emergency repairs. Currently, trucks over 2.5 tons and passenger vehicles with more than 16 seats are prohibited from crossing the bridge.
