According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Center, this is the heaviest rainfall in a week measured at 72 mm at the Thu Duc City Hydrometeorological Center compared to 64 mm on June 29.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Center, a hot low pressure in the west along with a subtropical high pressure caused widespread and heavy rains in HCMC. HCMC and southern provinces are expected to be battered by more heavy rains in the next two days.
