The singer got into a car to get to a speedboat station before checking into a resort in Hon Tre Island in the coastal city of Nha Trang, where he will perform and stay during his time in Vietnam. According to Cao Trung Hieu, the event’s general director, Puth sent a lot of inquiries about the quality of the sound and lighting system that was going to be used in the festival. He specifically required that everything in the event had to be of international standards.
“Charlie Puth was amused with the development of Vietnamese production and creative crews,” Hieu said earlier this week. “We have been able to prepare for most of his technical requirements.”
The event organizer has not publicized the festival’s setlist, in order to give attendees surprises.
