The Lac Hong 900 LX, which is on display at the Vietnam Exposition Center in Hanoi, is fully armored with a reinforced body, chassis and windows.

The Lac Hong 900 LX is equipped with the VPAM VR7 bulletproof package, the most secure and meant for vehicles used for key political leaders.
The vehicle is capable of withstanding NATO Ball M80 ammunition, commonly used in M14 and AK-47 rifles, and DM51 grenades.
Mines and DM51 grenade merely caused dents on the undercarriage, which was otherwise unscathed.

The 900 LX comes in bullet-proof and standard versions, with the former weighing 5 tons and the latter, 3 tons.

The bulletproof version is equipped with 19-inch wheels.
The vehicle uses Japan’s Falken tires, capable of driving at 80-100 km when flat.
It can be equipped with additional specialized equipment such as an oxygen support system fire-fighting system and others.
VinFast has already delivered the first batch of Lac Hong 900 LX vehicles to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the transportation of international leaders visiting the country for National Day celebrations on Sep. 2.
The "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" exhibition is being held from August 28 to Sep. 5 at the Vietnam Exposition Center.
