The couple’s wedding ceremony took place on Thursday at a football field near the midfielder’s home in Dong Anh district, Hanoi, where Hai’s mother (second from R) presented Huyen (C) with three gold bangles.
Huyen’s father (far L) and mother (second from R) bestowed upon the newlyweds two gold bracelets and two gold bangles.
Additionally, Hai’s brother (far R) and his wife (far L) contributed a gold bracelet and a gold ring to the couple’s collection of wedding gifts.
Friends of Huyen, along with her siblings and colleagues from her company, also gifted the bride with a variety of gold items.
Adorned in a bridal gown designed by Vietnamese designer Tra Linh, valued at VND150 million (approximately US$6,048), Huyen chose a bouquet of white tulips for her big day.
The grand occasion was attended by roughly 1,200 guests, who observed the couple performing the wine pouring ritual.
This was succeeded by the cutting of the wedding cake, which was elegantly adorned with green and white flora, including succulents and peonies.
Amid the hot Hanoi weather, Huyen was seen dabbing away sweat from Hai, who was attired in multiple layers.
To honor the occasion, the couple, along with their parents, toasted to the 1,200 attendees, predominantly comprising the groom’s close relations.
Both his wife and mother tenderly cared for the midfielder.
