Among the places she checked in was London’s Westminster Abbey.
The landmark is lauded for its Gothic architecture, which includes a magnificent western facade, two tall bell towers, and an interior adorned with towering domes and colorful stained glass windows.
Madam Pang also visited Hyde Park, one of the world’s largest urban parks, spanning 1.42 square kilometers and situated in the heart of London. She captured moments at the park’s Serpentine Lake, a scenic man-made lake where visitors can enjoy boating or walking.
A devoted follower of fashion, Madam Pang made sure to visit Sloane Street, a well-known luxury shopping street in London that hosts a variety of upscale stores from both international and local brands.
Her accommodation in London was at the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel, which features luxury rooms and a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant.
An integral part of her visit was to attend the UEFA Champions League final between Spanish professional football club Real Madrid and their German counterpart Borussia Dortmund, held at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 1.
Wembley Stadium, which can accommodate 90,000 spectators, is one of the largest stadiums in Europe and is known for hosting significant global football matches.
It also offers a tour that includes the changing rooms, players’ tunnel, VIP areas, the pitch, and the English Football Museum, which showcases historical artifacts and memorabilia from English football.
After London, Madam Pang continued to Paris to meet with partners. There, she stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, a long-favored gathering place for France’s elite. She also took the opportunity to visit prominent sites in the city.
As the owner of Saint Honoré (Bangkok) Company Limited, the importer and distributor of Hermès products in Thailand, Madam Pang visited the brand’s flagship store in Paris’ Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré area, a location often regarded as the “temple” of Hermès, drawing fashion enthusiasts globally.
Born Nualphan Lamsam, Madam Pang is the fifth-generation descendant of the Lamsam family in Thailand.
Forbes estimated the net worth of the Lamsam family, currently led by Madam Pang’s cousin Banthoon Lamsam, at US$1.1 billion in 2023, ranking them 32nd among the country’s “50 Richest.”
The family’s business interests span various sectors, particularly banking and insurances, with significant holdings in KBank, Phatra Insurance, Muang Thai Insurance, and Muang Thai Life Assurance.
Madam Pang was appointed as the president of the Thai Football Federation earlier this year.
