American pop sensation Taylor Swift reportedly checked into the presidential villa at Crown Towers in Melbourne, a luxurious accommodation costing US$16,000 per night, during the Australian segment of her “The Eras Tour.”

According to Hello! Magazine, Swift’s choice of stay is a 11,733-square-feet (1,090 square meters) presidential villa that features two bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a walk-in closet.

The second bedroom is furnished with two queen beds and a marble ensuite bathroom.

The master bedroom is also equipped with a marble bathroom, complete with a spa bath and rain shower.

The villa boasts a spacious living room with panoramic views of Melbourne’s skyline, a dining area equipped with a mahogany table for six, an adjacent cocktail bar, and the added luxuries of a private elevator and a dedicated butler service.

Swift’s Melbourne visit was marked by her performance at three sold-out shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from Feb. 16-18, a mere 10-minute drive from her opulent accommodation.

As per the Daily Mail, her arrival in Australia on Feb. 14, flying in from Hawaii on her private jet, garnered international attention with nearly 1,500 people tracking the 12-hour flight, making it the world’s most-watched flight at that time.

The 35-year-old singer is scheduled to continue her tour with four sold-out performances in Sydney on Feb. 23-26, before taking her show to other global destinations including Singapore, France, the U.K., and Germany, concluding in Canada on Dec. 8.

Swift’s tour has captured widespread attention, leading to expressions of regret from Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and South Korea’s Hyundai Card CEO for not being able to host her in their countries.
