Brunei’s Prince Mateen and his wife, Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah, have consistently demonstrated their deep affection, captivating onlookers at each public appearance, since their wedding.

Earlier this month, Prince Mateen shared photos from the 2024 MB Polo Tournament, held from July 16 to Aug. 1, on his Instagram. One of the photos features the prince and his wife engaging in conversation.

This marks one of the many public appearances the royal couple has made together since their wedding in January.

In February, Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah joined her husband in Thailand for the 2024 All Asia Polo Cup.

During Brunei’s National Day on Feb. 23, she appeared in traditional attire, sitting beside her husband and smiling radiantly.

The couple made a pilgrimage to the sacred site of Mecca in Saudi Arabia in April.

They also attended an event for the Islamic festival Hari Raya in Brunei on April 11.

In mid-May, the prince posted on Instagram a photo from a trip to Tuscany, Italy, with his wife. They wore casually elegant matching outfits, exuding sophistication.

Following their Tuscany trip, the couple resumed their philanthropic efforts, attending the opening of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, an educational center for children with disabilities or challenging circumstances in Brunei.

They visited an art exhibition on July 18.

The next day, they flew to the Malaysian state of Johor for the coronation of Sultan Ibrahim of Malaysia.

Prince Mateen, 33, a polo player who represented Brunei in the 2017 and 2019 SEA Games, was named one of Asia’s most eligible bachelors by Tatler magazine in 2016.

Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnah, 30, is an entrepreneur in the cultural tourism business with a degree from the University of Bath, the U.K.

She comes from a family well-connected to the Sultan of Brunei. Her grandfather Pehin Dato Isa was an influential government advisor in the 1960s and 1970s, and her brother Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic is a close friend of Prince Mateen. Her sister-in-law, Janetira Attaskulchai Deen, is linked to Thailand’s Attaskulchai family, owners of the Betagen yogurt company.

The couple’s wedding, held from January 7-16 in Bandar Seri Begawan, hosted approximately 5,000 guests, including international dignitaries.
