Chung (second from L) poses with her daughters Jaden Zhang (far L), Yasmine Ross (second from R), and Cayla Zhang.
In the video from the photoshoot, Chung shared a touching message for her mother: “On Mother’s Day, I want to thank you for teaching me to open my heart to the world with your kindness.
“Thank you for the concern in your words, for staying up late waiting for me to come home,” she said.
Chung’s mother, a Vietnamese woman, had previously appeared with Chung and her husband Shawn Zhang on a reality show about family life.
Chung also spoke about her daughters, saying: “Thanks to my children, I’ve become a superhero.”
“It’s not me teaching them how to live, but they’ve made me courageous, bringing me back to a place of curiosity about life,” she explained.
The actress also expressed pride in her daughters’ talents and beauty, noting that they are not only gifted but also more beautiful than she is.
Ross (far R), 27, is Chung’s eldest daughter from her first marriage to Belgian national Glen Ross.
Jaden and Cayla Zhang, aged 17 and 15 respectively, are Chung’s daughters with her second husband, Taiwanese musician Jon Yen.
After Chung married her current husband, 43-year-old Chinese actor Shawn Zhang, Jaden and Cayla’s surname was changed to Zhang.
