The Royal Navy's multi-mission frigate HMS Richmond docked at Nha Rong Wharf, Ho Chi Minh City on Sept. 22. The visit coincides with the 15th anniversary of the establishment of a strategic partnership between the U.K. and Vietnam, highlighting diplomatic commitment and strengthened cooperation in security and defense.
On this occasion, the British Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City organized the U.K.-Vietnam Summer Festival 2025 to welcome HMS Richmond as well as to celebrate the 15th anniversary of upgrading U.K.-Vietnam relations to a strategic partnership. The ceremony was attended by representatives from embassies in Vietnam, consulates in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and senior executives from British enterprises operating in Vietnam.
In the open-air setting, Vinamilk's gelato products became the most sought-after treat. Inspired by Italy's iconic gelato, these ice creams impressed many international guests from the very first taste thanks to their smooth, rich, and stretchy texture.

Lieutenant Oliver Thomas (L) of HMS Richmond's crew expressed a special fondness for Vinamilk Green Farm drinking yoghurt. "The yoghurt is very tasty, fresh, smooth, and creamy," he said.
