Hongyok posted a new year celebration card featuring a photo of him and Treechada on Instagram on Monday. Many friends and followers of the couple have left their comments praising how well they match each other.
Taiguonet reported that the couple, who tied the knot in Mar. 2023, has spent the first year of their married life traveling and enjoying life together.
They had a trip to Europe in Dec. 2023, during which they skied in France and enjoyed the festive atmosphere in Switzerland.
Both Treechada and Hongyok like traveling, exploring new destinations, and tasting specialty dishes from different regions. Treechada once said the trips she and her husband had left them with unforgettable memories and joy.
Meanwhile, Hongyok said he wanted to wander around the world with Treechada till their “shoes are worn.”
Treechada sent her birthday wishes to Hongyok on the occasion of his birthday in June: “Happy birthday husband, I wish you happiness and health, I love you.”
According to a MGR Online report, Treechada said everything in her married life was going well. Both she and Hongyok had learned to be more patient, and she got familiar with the adjustments she had to make to adapt to her new role as a wife, she said.
She also shared that both she and Hongyok got along well with their respective in-laws. They had been receiving support from both families since they started dating.
The couple rarely showed up at public events together when they were dating. They only started doing so after getting married.
Treechada and Hongyok had known each other for over 20 years before their marriage, as Hongyok is a friend of Treechada’s brother.
Both of them had gone through several romantic relationships before realizing their feelings for each other.
Treechada, 38, underwent male-to-female gender-affirming surgery in 2003. She then won the 2004 Miss International Queen contest and has been active as an actress, model, and entrepreneur since then.
She is the first Thai transgender that made it to TC Candler’s list of 100 most beautiful faces in 2015.
Hongyok, 42, is the heir to a restaurant, coffee, and tourism service company in Phuket.
