Construction of the stage at the My Dinh National Stadium started 10 days ago for the concerts on July 29 and 30. The organizers said 80% of the technical equipment has been imported from South Korea and Thailand.

A large number of L-Acoustic K1 speakers, a type commonly used in large stadiums and for outdoor music festivals, are being installed for the concerts at My Dinh.

The organizers said 200 experts came from the U.S., South Korea, Canada, Singapore, and Thailand to optimize the equipment. In addition to the main organizer, IME Vietnam, a number of other event organizing companies are also participated in the preparation.

The seats for the audiences have been cleaned. There are seven sitting areas, and only one standing area, where tickets cost VND5.8 million.

The VIP area, for which tickets cost VND9.8 million, is the closest to the stage. Blackpink is expected to perform some 22 songs, including their biggest hits and solo performances by each member, such as “How You Like That”, “Pretty Savage”, “Whistle”, and “Lovesick Girls”.

The organizers already have contingency plans in case of bad weather or rain.

On Thursday, the Vietnam Center for Protection of Music Copyright (VCPMC) called for canceling the license for the concerts. It said the organizer, IME, has not fulfilled its copyright obligations and the commitments it made to the VCPMC. A spokesperson for the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said it is investigating the matter.
