The Vietnamese designer was initially hesitant when he received the invitation as the show is only around three weeks after his own event at New York Fashion Week, which took place on September 10.

"But this is a great opportunity," Cuong said. "We feel tired sometimes [during the preparation process], but we accepted it."

Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H’Hen Nie was chosen to be featured on the show’s promotional poster. This is the fourth time the beauty queen has appeared on posters promoting Cuong’s shows.

There will be 500 guests attending the show. Vietnamese models Le Thuy, Le Hang, and Ngoc Chau will showcase Cuong’s creations along with other international models.

Scheduled to take place between September 27 and October 1, this year’s Los Angeles Fashion Show will feature numerous designers from international fashion houses, including German designer Philipp Plein and American designer Jacob Meir.
