The "Hoi Sinh" (Revival) collection debuted on Sept. 11 as part of this year's New York Fashion Week, taking place until Sept. 14. |
The two fashion designers handcrafted certain patterns out of linen. |
According to Hai Long, they use recycled materials to protect the environment. "We cut and rearrange used fabrics to create new clothes," he explained. |
They also print images with Vietnamese features like lotus flowers, dragons and phoenixes and ancient buildings on their designs. |
They and their crew worked on the collection for almost six months. |
A U.S-based company helped the designer duo participate in New York Fashion Week. |
Each outfit is intricately connected and hand-embroidered with traditional motifs. |
