Supermodel Thanh Hang announces engagement to conductor

Hang began handing out the wedding invitations to her colleagues and acquaintances in the entertainment industry Thursday. The card’s design is music-themed, centered on the image of piano keys interwoven with the initials of the bride and groom, H and M.

The supermodel said she hopes guests will follow the black-and-white or pastel dress code. Hang also said she doesn’t plan to release any other wedding details because she’s too occupied shooting the finale of "The New Mentor"— a reality TV modeling competition show in which she coaches other model contestants.

Minh graduated with a master’s degree in Russia and is currently working at the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera. He also often works as the music director for performing artists such as Ha Anh Tuan, Le Quyen, and Thanh Thao.

In a few moments shared on social media, many people commented that Hang and Minh seemed like a perfect couple.

Minh proposed to her in August. Hang immediately garnered attention online when she posted a picture of herself wearing a diamond ring along with the caption: "In this situation, people usually say yes."

Hang said she wanted to marry Minh because he’s given her a sense of peace and comfort. The model complimented his bravery and courage in standing by her through all the difficulties of life. She added that as a couple, they both stand on "equal ground" with one another

"I’m enjoying my love life at 40. He deserves my love and trust," she said.

Hang was born in Da Nang. She was crowned Miss Photo Vietnam in 2022 and from there she entered the modeling industry. She was the host of Vietnam’s Next Top Model for many years and then became a coach on The Face Vietnam in 2018.

Aside from modeling, Hang is also an actress. In 2019, she starred alongside Chi Pu in the film "Chi Chi Em Em" (Sister, Sister). In 2021, she released a novel, "Me Chong" (Mother-in-law), which was adapted from the film of the same name released in 2017.
